Behold a stream of conciousness - a free association of ideas as our lad struggles to keep up his end of the conversation with y'all. But succeed he does, so settle down and marvel as he manages to fill a full half hour.
Outro Music : Marianne Faithfull - Broken English - 'Working Class Hero'. |

Lordy ..... it's that man again. Yep, having another go at being a podcaster of a sort with this long overdue episode. We cover our recent trip over to the U.S. - to Florida and to Pelham Alabama. Speech is a tad throaty and snuffly ...... but when is it not, gentle listeners; & the blame lies squarely with long haul aeronautics. Outro Music: The Motors - Greatest Hits - "Airport". |

Our happy hero creaks into action, fires up the Zoom and commences this latest offering in the continuing saga, in petty detail, of a life lived. Swiftly dispensing with Happy Holiday festivities, he then proceeds to muse upon his dislike of moonlight, his brother's health issues, bookish matters and the general trashiness of neighbourhood inhabitants - those who dwell in the higher floors of Paradise Towers naturally being excluded from his harsh judgements. Enjoy! Outro music: Alison Moyet - Voice - 'La Chanson Des Vieux Amants'. |

Our intrepid fellow drags himself back to the microphone and summons up some recollections of Christmas as it was in the days of his childhood. Not only that, he's been out & about again with his binaurals, this time on a shopping trip to the local marketplace. This part of the episode is not as accomplished as he would wish - due to there being a bit of a tussle with fucking Audacity, the thing misbehaved and not all of the intended edited clips survived into the finished product. 'Tant pis......' But, what the hell ........

Our much improved, emotionally, chappie settles down at the dining table [a.k.a. Studio C], dusts the glitter and tinsel from his hands and gets cracking on his weekly update. His artistic endeavours regarding the decorating of the Xmas tree as well as the apartment are relayed, that flat pack Ikea item gets a mention as well as his new Wordpress page. Apart from those, he wanders thru' memories of his Texas trip and fetches up admiring the view of central London before him as he gazes out the window. Outro music: Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster - 'Alejandro' [Any comments to his new Wordpress page at: http://www.englishpaul.wordpress.com |

Our plucky podcaster overcomes his reluctance together with residual feelings of frustration and offers this little potboiler in order to keep up his batting average. Mike's numb thumb and flat pack furniture from Ikea are mentioned - although the two issues are not connected. Outro Music: Gregorian - Masters Of Chant - 'Still I'm Sad' |

Firstly we hear our hero explaining about the marvellous Margarita Pracatan - last heard tunefully trilling as outro music in the previous episode. He then moves on to talking about what exactly he does for a living. The scene then moves to an al fresco setting as he takes his gentle listeners along on his commute to work, this segment terminating in the locker room of the O.R. [It must be said that he has yet to become fully accomplished with the requisite levels for the binaurals - so this bit is a tad muted.] [Next time he'll be speaking a helluva lot louder.] Intro snippet of music: Ry Cooder - Music By - 'Main Theme' Outro Music: The Wallflowers - Bringing Down The Horse - 'One Headlight' |

Work stuff, the highlight thereof being a flood in my O.R. and my escaping being crushed under a collapsing ceiling as I dashed heroically thru the torrents to save my anaesthetic machine from inundation. The result of a fractured pressurised water pipe up in the roof space. Well .... that's roughly what happened. Good news about an upcoming vacation in April next year. The finale of the sorry tale regarding David ......... and other random stuff. Intro sound FX - Classic Sound Effects - Cathedral Interior. Outro music: Margarita Pracatan - Live At The Palladium - 'Hello'. [Margarita Pracatan is an older lady, a somewhat demented wannabe diva - out of Cuba via New York City - had her own amateur cable show - and she both sings and plays a keyboard very badly indeed. As you can hear.] |

Despite a hesitant start this episode kicks off with matters of a general nature, then moves into darker and more sombre territory with recollections of bad times with my ex-partner David. Those with more acute hearing may detect the odd hoot from Abercrombie in the background - as well as the faint whistling/screaming noise due to gusts of wind blowing thru the window cracks as the strength of the gale outside increased. Outtro music: Alison Moyet - Voice - 'Dido's Lament; When I Am Laid In Earth'. |

It's Remembrance Sunday in Olde London Towne and the binaurals get an outing as the local parade passes by the apartment block. I retreat into Studio B and embark upon an hour long monologue - for which I apologise, gentle listeners. Mike's birthday, responses to listener comments, Remembrance Sunday in the U.K., are among the random items that issue forth from my lips as I meander through the outer reaches of my psyche. Outro music: Antony & The Johnsons - I Am A Bird Now - 'Hope There's Someone'
